Our school is committed to creating calm, safe and supportive learning environments where every student can thrive. Through consistent classroom management practices and a whole-school positive behaviour approach, we establish clear routines, expectations and shared language that help students feel secure, engaged and ready to learn. Teachers explicitly teach and reinforce expected behaviours, while building positive relationships that promote respect, responsibility, resilience and self-regulation across all learning spaces.
Students also participate in regular wellbeing and social skills sessions that support the development of positive behaviours aligned with our school values. These sessions help students build important interpersonal skills, strengthen relationships and develop strategies for working and learning successfully with others. Positive behaviours are recognised and celebrated through our school’s acknowledgement system, where students can earn rewards for demonstrating our values in the classroom and playground. This fosters a positive school culture where effort, kindness and responsible behaviour are recognised and valued.
