Headlice

Head lice are transmitted by having head-to-head contact with someone who has head lice. This happens frequently in schools, childcare centres and families. 

Parents are encouraged to frequently check their children for head lice by applying and combing an inexpensive white hair conditioner through dry hair. If lice are found during an inspection, please ensure that appropriate treatment is provided.
