Kitchen Program
Our Kitchen Program provides all students with the opportunity to participate in hands-on cooking experiences throughout the year. Twice each term, students work collaboratively with their peers to prepare and enjoy two recipes, while developing important life skills such as teamwork, communication, kitchen safety, and healthy eating habits. As this is an extracurricular activity there is a cost involved which is identified in our Parent Payments information.
We warmly welcome parent helpers to join our Kitchen Program sessions and support students in this engaging learning experience.
Camps
Students in grades 3-6 have an opportunity to attend camp annually. School camps provide students with rich learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom and support the development of important life skills. Through shared experiences and new challenges, students build independence, resilience, confidence and teamwork, while strengthening friendships and developing a strong sense of belonging within the school community.
Camps also give students opportunities to step outside their comfort zone, try new activities and work collaboratively with their peers in a supportive environment. Alongside the social and personal benefits, camps complement classroom learning by providing access to unique environments, resources and experiences that enhance student engagement and deepen understanding in meaningful and memorable ways.
Clubs
Lunchtime Clubs are structured, supervised activities designed to promote student wellbeing, inclusion and positive social connections. Running each day during second break, these clubs provide students with an enjoyable alternative to outside play in a safe and supportive environment.
Lunchtime Clubs encourage students to build friendships, develop social skills, explore new interests and strengthen their sense of belonging within the school community. The focus of lunchtime clubs varies across the year depending on student interests but may include activities such as; chess, drawing, Lego, dance, mindfulness and other interest-based clubs.
The program supports positive relationships across year levels and provides students with opportunities to connect with peers who share similar interests in a calm and inclusive setting.
